TalkiTale has received support from Innovation Fund Denmark under the Innofounder program.
Innovation Fund Denmark invests in entrepreneurs, researchers, and companies creating value for Denmark and new solutions to society’s greatest challenges. The fund supports the development of new knowledge and technology leading to the strengthening of research and innovative solutions for the benefit of growth and employment in Denmark.
COMUNIK
We collaborate with COMUNIK, which offers specialized language training and guidance in the Karlstad Model and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and has many years of experience creating communication opportunities for people with complex communication needs. The collaboration ensures that TalkiTale’s apps are developed close to practice and to the people it’s all about: children, youth, and adults with communication challenges, their families, and the professionals around them.
Sprog for Alle
TalkiTale collaborates with Sprog for Alle, which for several years has helped promote key word signing in Denmark, including through a large library of sign videos on the Instagram profile @tidtiltegn. The sign videos from Sprog for Alle are now integrated into TalkiTale’s apps as a built-in sign library.
Sign Language Interpreter Elisabeth H. Hansen
TalkiTale’s apps include sign language videos recorded by professional sign language interpreter Elisabeth H. Hansen. For many years, she has worked with communication and Danish Sign Language, both as a sign language interpreter and as a teacher at the Sign Language and Speech-to-Text Interpreter program. Today, she works with Danish Sign Language at the Danish Language Council (Dansk Sprognævn), among other roles. She also appeared in the 2008 educational film ‘Tal med Tegn’, where she demonstrated signs from children’s everyday lives.
Peak Privacy
We collaborate with Peak Privacy to ensure that TalkiTale’s products respect user privacy, comply with GDPR regulations, and continue to process user data appropriately in the future. The tool stemp.li, developed by Peak Privacy, scans published versions of TalkiTale’s apps in the App Store, documenting that user data is not shared with third parties, that data remains within the EU, and that the applications behave as described in TalkiTale’s current privacy policy.
