About TalkiTale

At TalkiTale, we develop innovative apps and digital solutions to support people with communication disabilities. Our goal is to make communication more accessible through intuitive, engaging technology.

The Story Behind TalkiTale

TalkiTale was founded in 2025 by Zsuzsanna Etches, a bioinformatics PhD and mother of a nonverbal child with a rare genetic condition. Having experienced firsthand the frustrations that arise when communication is challenging—not just for the child but for the entire family—she saw the need for better technological solutions. In a world that is becoming increasingly digital, there are still significant gaps in tools that can give a voice to those who cannot speak due to disability.

TalkiTale was created to help bridge these gaps. With an initial focus on digital solutions for sign-supported communication, we aim to make it easier for children, parents, and caregivers to connect and communicate.

What We Do

Our first product, currently in development, is an educational game designed to help children learn signs. Getting started with sign-supported communication can be challenging, and we’re here to make that journey not just easier, but a whole lot more fun. That’s why we are developing this game in close collaboration with experts, professionals, and the people who will use it.
